Verdant Carbon is a startup soil sampling and analysis company, focusing on testing organic carbon in agricultural soils, enabling farmers and landowners to better understand soil dynamics.
The firm is working in partnership with a leading UK agricultural research organisation to help further shared knowledge of soils, a vital but poorly understood requirement for life. In order to support this work, the Verdant Carbon team wants to continue developing its laboratory facilities on a continuous basis, and has invested in an enhanced carbon analysis platform from Elementar to further this goal.
